Our Rates and Billing Terms

We are currently operating under our Corporate Credit Terms and Conditions. Under those terms and conditions, our diagnostic rate is $75 per call, and our rate for service is $80 per call. Follow-up calls required to complete a part replacement/appliance repair (after the first) are provided at no additional charge.

Sealed system repairs (which can take up to 3 hours) are billed at a flat rate of $ 225. All parts are billed at MRSP (less 10%).

Invoices for parts and labor are rendered monthly and are payable thirty days from the date of receipt. If you have any questions or concerns about the costs reflected in an invoice, please notify us within ten days of receipt so adjustments can be made (if agreed to) and a new invoice can be promptly issued.

2024

01/11 – Appliance for apartment 4216-1 was not moved as requested (additional space is needed to replace the gearcase). Repair service call has been rescheduled to Th, 01/18 (am).

01/03 – Tech was unable to reach anyone so the appliance in apartment 4216-1 could be serviced. Will contact customer again to arrange for a service call next week.

 

2023

12/29 – Tech was ill on Fr, 12/29. Installation service call rescheduled to We, 01/03 (am).

12/20 – Tech completed installations on four of the five units scheduled for repairs. The GEARCASE ordered for the washer in unit #4216-1 will be installed on Fr, 12/29 (am). The customer activity report has been updated to show labor and parts costs for each appliance. The amount showed in the “Billing” column shows the amount to be billed to the customer in January.

12/14 –  All parts have been received. Installation service calls for all units is currently scheduled for We, 12/20. Tech was informed by customer that the HotPoint unit in apartment 4240-5 is not under warranty, so installation of LID LOCK & HARNESS will go ahead as scheduled.

12/13 – According to Christian, the GE unit in apartment 4240-5 may still be under warranty. To determine that, we’ll need a date of purchase (or date of installation). If the unit’s repair can be covered under warranty, someone from the complex needs to call GE customer service and get them to open a ticket. This could save you around $150 in parts and labor.

CHRIS’LL FIXIT provides warranty service on GE equipment, so we may get the service ticket assigned to us. If there are any questions, please feel free to call Christian at 563-514-1751.

12/12 – Diagnosed five appliances. Ordered parts. All parts deliveries are scheduled to occur on Th, 12/14. Once parts have been received, CLFXI will contact the customer to arrange for installation service calls. Installation and repair service calls typically take an hour or less to complete and are billed at a flat rate of $80/call (for corporate/CREDIT customers).

Please NOTE: When repairs are invoiced, all parts will be discounted 10% off MSRP (Mfgrs Suggested Retail Price) as per the terms of our corporate/CREDIT Terms of Service (thru 12/2024).

12/08 – Confirmed date for diagnostic visit to evaluate five units on Tu, 12/14. Activity report updated.

12/05 – Details of establishing a corporate account for both Sanders and Highland Manor Apartments were finalized. Awaiting confirmation of a new date for an in-person evaluation of five appliances for a lump-sum price of $100.

11/17 – Prescreening on all units was put on hold until a corporate account could be set up with CLFXI to handle appliance needs now and into the future.

11/07 – Original assigned date for prescreening call to take place. Prescreen was rescheduled to Fr, 11/17.
